Patient FAQs
Is MINISH Veneers the same as "Lumineers" or "No-Prep" Veneers?
This is our most frequent question. While MINISH is minimally invasive, it is in a different category than standard “no-prep” brands. Standard no-prep veneers are often “over-contoured,” meaning they can look bulky or thick because the dentist just sticks them on top of the tooth. MINISH is much thinner (0.1mm) and requires a “micro-milling” process that ensures the veneer sits flush with your tooth. The result is a natural-looking transition at the gum line that doesn’t trap food or bacteria.
Does the procedure hurt?
For the vast majority of our patients, the procedure is entirely pain-free. Because we stay within the enamel layer and do not touch the dentin or nerves, the “drilling” and “shots” that people associate with the dentist are largely unnecessary. Many of our patients even fall asleep during the bonding process! If you have dental anxiety, we offer various sedation options to ensure you are completely comfortable.
What happens if a MINISH Veneers chips or breaks?
While our material is incredibly strong, nothing in life is 100% unbreakable. However, because we keep your digital scans on file, replacing a MINISH veneer is incredibly easy. We don’t need to take new impressions; we simply mill a new one from your digital blueprint and bond it in minutes. Furthermore, we stand behind our work with a comprehensive 10-Year Warranty, giving you total peace of mind.
How do I know I won't end up with "Fake-Looking" teeth?
This is our specialty. We avoid the “one-size-fits-all” white blocks often seen in low-quality cosmetic dentistry. Our Master Technicians hand-finish every restoration to add “incisal translucency” and “surface texture.” This means your teeth will have the same subtle ridges and light-reflecting properties as natural teeth. Our goal is for people to notice your confidence, not your dentistry.
Can MINISH Veneers fix my crooked teeth without braces?
In many cases, yes. We call this “Instant Orthodontics.” If your crowding or misalignment is minor to moderate, we can use MINISH to “re-align” the visual appearance of your smile. However, if you have a severe bite issue or major jaw misalignment, we may recommend a short course of orthodontics before finishing with MINISH to ensure the best long-term result.
How do I get started?
The first step is a Smile Consultation. We will take a 3D scan and photos of your current smile and discuss your goals. We provide a transparent, all-inclusive quote so there are no surprises. From there, your transformation can happen in as little as one day.
